Capri is fantastic, and Villa Quattro Venti was even better. I spent 14 unforgettable days here, with Mariarosa and Francesco's professionalism, kindness, and especially their advice helping me discover corners of Capri many people hadn't seen. Before the trip, paradise seemed like an imaginary place where everyone hopes to spend at least one day. Turns out I got to spend two weeks there. Highly recommended!

A private garden full of the scents and colors of the area surrounds the villa. Lemon trees, roses, and lavender fill the grounds, while majestic olive trees provide shade and remarkable privacy. The residence, now known as Villa I Quattro Venti, is set in a scenic spot and is built in the typical Capri architectural style. American symbolist painter and poet Elihu Vedder commissioned it between 1900 and 1903, and the property helped sustain Capri's lasting myth. Over the years it has inspired many artists and internationally known writers. D.H. Lawrence, Joseph Beuys, and Cy Twombly all worked here on major literary works.
