Our post-wedding group felt very welcome and at home for two days and nights, thanks to a wonderful host. The villa has history and style, with spacious rooms and high ceilings. The furniture is a little random and not especially luxurious, but it doesn’t spoil the overall feel of this majestic place. There’s good food and wine, plus a great pool area with man-made “caves” that still feel atmospheric. You can also walk or run around the large grounds. The host is doing much of the care himself, with help from the chefs and cleaners, and keeps making the place better each year. I’d recommend it for a group of around 20 who can have the whole villa to themselves for a weekend :)

Albert, our wonderful host, went above and beyond to make our stay special. The spacious, beautiful villa sits among trees and greenery beside stunning sunflower fields, not far from Serravalle Scrivia. It’s a lovely mix of impressive architecture and unspoiled nature, and the pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing in the middle of the afternoon. Highly recommend :)

The four-course dinner with regional wines chosen by our host was delicious. The wine list gives a great overview of Piedmont, and we were well advised: Bric Turot Barbaresco 2016 was exactly to our taste and paired beautifully with the food. Later, we shared the veranda with the other guests, who stayed up late enjoying the moment. The host and his team made it a place where you want to linger and spend time together. We were a family with two teenage girls, ages 11 and 13, and all loved it. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend it. We stayed one Thursday night at La Villa while heading back to Switzerland. The mansion and estate are marvelous, kept clean and tidy, with great attention to detail. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms modern, and the beds very large and comfortable. There’s a big swimming pool with plenty of shade in the lightly wooded area beside the mansion.

We spent a week at Villa Val Lemme and had a wonderful stay. It’s a great base for exploring Piemonte. The pool is large and well maintained, and breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Highly recommended!

The staff treated us like dear friends, almost like family, and the restaurant was amazing. This place is a remarkable gem tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Plan to stay longer if you can, so there’s time to enjoy the special pool hidden in the shade of the trees. I wish I’d known all this before booking just one night. I’d have loved to stay longer!
