Locanda Al Centrale

It had a distinctly Italian feel, which I really liked. Our room looked out toward the mountains, and the place was cool, quiet, clean, and tidy. The employees were kind and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. Gardaland, Movieland, Lake Garda, and Monte Baldo are all close to the hotel. Everything suited me, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Italian style.

Yum, the bolognese was so good we came back for dinner. It's a small, quaint town, with a lovely courtyard and delicious food. They also made my husband a delicious vegan meal.

The breakfast was truly amazing, and Caprino Veronese is a brilliant place to stay when visiting Lake Garda. Our room, though, was very filthy, especially the bathroom. It seemed like it hadn't been cleaned at all, and the shower drain was clogged with a bunch of disgusting hairs. The lady at reception doesn't speak ANY English, which made communication hard. The air conditioning was dirty and mouldy, barely worked, and with the noise in the building going on until midnight, it was hard to sleep with the windows open. There's no parking at the property, so you have to leave the car in a supermarket car park. That was fine and secure.

The room was cleaned every day, and the food was excellent. Guiliano, the owner, is very kind, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is family run and right in the heart of town, close to bars, the market, shops, and a petrol station. Lake Garda, at Garda town, is about 10-15 minutes away, and Venice is an easy drive of around 1 hour 20 minutes. Verona is also close by car. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.
