Olympus Capua

I paid a deposit, then kept hearing that my refund would come “tomorrow” or that they’d let me know, but no concrete solution ever followed. Unexpected events can happen, but this felt like a real lack of respect for customers’ money. Extremely negative experience, and very unprofessional, unserious behavior.

The beds were super comfortable, and the large jacuzzi was great for relaxing together without interruptions. We even got a complimentary Prosecco. The receptionist was very kind and professional. Cleanliness was excellent, and breakfast had a generous choice of pastries and juices. I had a wonderful night with you. FABULOUS.

I’d asked for room decorations, balloons and petals, for an extra €10, but they put out petals only. The bubbles and simple aperitif hadn’t been prepared either. There were no slippers or candles until I asked, and the tub was empty, though that was okay. What we found wasn’t what I’d requested. I was very disappointed. First and last time, I’ll never go back.

The room was nice, and the guy at reception was kind, but he seemed poorly prepared for the services the place offers. I’d booked an aperitif with cured meats and prosecco, but found neither. After several calls, I was told I hadn’t booked it. I went downstairs and showed the messages to prove it. They tried to make it right, but all I got was prosecco and peanuts, no cutting board, because it was supposedly too late to prepare. The jacuzzi also had leaks, and when I tried to fill it, only lukewarm or cold water came out.
