The bus stops nearby, so it’s easy to get around the lake. This B&B sits quietly in the foothills of Carate Urio, and every room looks out over Lake Como. At sunrise, the light comes up behind the mountains; at night, it’s peaceful under the stars and the full moon reflected on the water. Breakfast is laid out each morning by one of the lovely staff, who can also help with local tips.

Breakfast in the garden was a highlight, with freshly baked treats and homemade jams. The room also had a lovely view of the lake. The B&B is in Carate Urio, a few kilometres north of Como, and easy to reach from the autostrade. It’s far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet.

The hosts were friendly, and the place was clean and cozy. It’s an easy drive from Malpenza airport, and the lake views from this beautiful location are wonderful.

The rooms are tastefully furnished, and you can see the lake from them. Breakfast is homemade and prepared daily by the very kind Paola. The owners are fabulous too. Simply fantastic, I’d recommend staying here to anyone looking for a wonderful stay! ❤️
