The animals were very cute, donkeys, goats, cats, geese and more. Staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable, with AC and mosquito nets. Breakfast was good, with a nice buffet and fresh eggs made to order if you want them. The dinners were very good too. The 25€ menus came with plenty of excellent food. Perfetto!

The food was excellent, a great way to try typical island dishes, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. We were 10 motorcyclists staying for 3 days, and Francesca did everything she could to make us comfortable, naturally taking care of all our needs. It’s close to the cute town of Iglesias and the beautiful west coast. You do need your own transport.

The room was very clean, though the cupboards were super old. We had a generous meal, but the food was basic and lacked depth of flavour. The pasta was so overcooked you could mash it with a fork. The earlier pictures are deceiving. The pool itself is nice, but there’s no bar service, and reception closes for a few hours during the day. If you need something then, forget it. They expect you to bring out the plastic glass from your room. When we’d been by the pool for a few hours, they asked what we’d poured into it. My 10 year old son had gone in and out, so we’re very cautious, and we told them we hadn’t put anything in. It was a water gun being emptied. They said they’d seen something on camera, apparently there for our security, but the footage is pixelated and they can’t see clearly. They still needed to know if the pool had been contaminated. I felt violated and extremely insulted, as if they were spying on us. Disgusting. If they’re so concerned about contamination, they should have a staff member there. Why not check for dye, stools, fish, or test the water before questioning us like children about what we’d done? They’ve had these issues before. There was a party when we arrived, so we were told we couldn’t use the pool until 10am the next day. Appalled by the whole exchange, I checked out and paid in full even though we had 2 nights paid for. We could hear the main building’s front door slam each time, and people talking outside our window because of the single glazing. Wifi only worked in reception. The extensions don’t reach anywhere else.

It’s a very clean, spotless hotel, about 15mins by car from Iglesias city centre. The friendly staff at reception showed us around the facilities.

Francesca, the owner, was pleasant to deal with and did everything she could. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was good, but the coffee was undrinkable. The beds were appallingly uncomfortable, and the walls were paper thin. You could hear neighbours snoring, peeing, talking, everything. The rooms were very basic and outdated, with a poor ambience, more like a backpacker place. Parking spaces weren’t clear either, and at 11pm a very rude, aggressive woman banged loudly and shouted at us to move the car. Honestly, this may be the worst place to stay in Sardinia. Please read ALL the reviews, because some are very dubious.
