We stayed from July 2 to 13, 2023. The guidance we got about places to visit and how long it would take to reach them was completely unrealistic. Housekeeping was daily, including bed changes, but linen was changed and left on the hallway chair only every three or four days. Otherwise, we had to leave the key in the door all day. With other guests in the building and the outer door almost always open, that didn't feel safe at all.

We had a lovely stay at the end of summer 2019 in a welcoming, family-friendly place. Its location is excellent for seeing the main attractions around Sulcis in southern Sardinia.

The family atmosphere and the warm welcome from the very friendly siblings made the stay special. Marinella, Margherita, Iolanda, and Paolo were available and wonderfully hospitable at all hours. The place is inviting and nicely furnished. Highly recommended!

Paolo was kind and helpful, and we felt right at home during our stay last summer with two friends. Everything was excellent, from the rooms to breakfast. We'd definitely return to keep exploring the beautiful beaches in the Iglesiente area.

Cortoghiana is a handy base for exploring all of Sulcis, and they can arrange almost any kind of transport, including sailing boats and bikes on Carloforte. The rooms are spacious, nicely finished, and cool. Breakfast was hearty and served in a large dining room with a magnificent fireplace, and I even had homemade cake. The Melis family are endlessly helpful, friendly, and kind. They work tirelessly to make guests happy and seem able to sort out any problem. Top marks!
