L'Aurora Viola

The owner was friendly, kind, and flexible about check-in and checkout, and checked in from time to time to see how our stay was going. The apartment is very well equipped, with a little shared kitchen where guests can have the hearty breakfast included in the price or get a meal delivered. My room had its own bathroom and shower with the usual amenities, and both the room and its fresh-smelling linens were extremely clean. The bed was roomy and comfortable. This lovely B&B is right in central Carbonia and an easy walk from the station. Six stars, all earned. Thank you! 😇😇😇

Breakfast was more than enough, though one morning the guest in the other room took nearly everything and left very little. That’s not the owners’ fault, of course. The B&B is right in the center, has what you need for a quiet stay, and offers parking. Very good value for the money.

The location is handy for reaching the coast in about 20 minutes. The place is comfortable and very clean, with coffee and cold still and sparkling water available from a really useful dispenser whenever you want. The owner isn’t there in person and handles things by phone, which makes the atmosphere feel a bit anonymous, even though it’s welcoming. Breakfast has everything, but feels a little impersonal too. The bathroom has been fitted inside the room, so it’s a bit narrow but works fine. The parking inside is useful, though getting a car over five metres out can be a bit of a chore. There’s usually room to park outside as well.

The free parking in the backyard was really handy, and there was free water, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning in the cute room. I’m not sure the person we contacted was the one who showed us around, but the older woman was very sweet and friendly. The barking dog outside was the one thing that got on my nerves a little.
