We camped in a tent in August and found the owners incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The restrooms were spotless, and the price was more than fair. It’s a great spot for a quiet break away from the summer crowds, with a beautiful beach nearby. Lido La Capannina is a five-minute drive away, with a good restaurant and evening entertainment if you want a taste of local life. It’s a pity the restaurant is temporarily closed, as I’m sure they’d serve excellent food. I’d recommend it to any traveler.

A calm pebble beach is within walking distance, and the owners are welcoming while still giving you space. They’re also happy to offer advice. The breeze through the shady olive trees, cicadas, and a few quiet roosters in the morning made the stay especially relaxing. If you’re traveling with pets, the owner’s daughter runs a veterinary clinic on site. Cariati campsite, the charming town, and Ciró are nearby. Ciró is known for its views and excellent local wine. Highly recommended.

The sea is close, with a clean pebble beach and hardly any swimmers. It’s a peaceful place, surrounded by a lovely estate where a wonderful family makes you feel welcome. Mornings come with the sounds of farm animals and the smell of the vegetable garden. I’d come back.

We paid €20 for two people, our bikes, and a tent, so it was really good value. The campsite is lovely and peaceful, right in nature. If you’d rather avoid the bustle of the bigger campsites, this is a great quiet option.
