I was really disappointed, especially after reading the reviews (updated 7/7/23). There’s no breakfast service, not a tree in sight, and the room with an ensuite bathroom is up three flights of stairs. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and the mosquitoes were like old warplanes from 1915/18. Maybe it suits couples on a quick getaway, but I absolutely don’t recommend it.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the phone was broken, breakfast service was poor, and the kitchen wasn’t well organized. On the plus side, it’s close to the castle and has a view.

We’d arranged a meeting, but the owner turned up an hour and a half late.

Good value for the price, and the owner was very kind.
