Hotel Alla Prisa

A straightforward place run by a friendly couple.

I stayed at Alla Prisa with my family for a couple of days, using the B&B option, and we were very happy with it. The new management are simple, kind, helpful people who make you feel at home. Dinner was excellent and the portions generous. The mixed cured meats and cheeses platter was a good way to taste the quality of the products, and the rest of the meal was good too. In the morning, opening the window quietly to see deer nearby was a treat. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, parking next door was convenient, and the prices were fair. I hope all their effort brings them success.

We came for dinner, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The owner greeted us right away with real warmth and kindness. We had pasta with fresh chanterelles and sausage, then polenta with mushrooms, sausage, and grilled cheese. Everything was well made, generous, delicious, and used quality ingredients. I was already full but ordered the coconut panna cotta anyway, and it was lovely, especially for someone with lactose intolerance. It was a great way to end our holiday. We’ll be back!

We stopped for lunch after visiting the beautiful Nardis waterfalls and were impressed by the new management’s traditional food. The canederli in brodo (dumplings in broth) were delicious, even at the end of July. The fettuccine al ragù and polenta with mushrooms and cheese were just as good. We were completely full, but shared a tiramisu anyway, and I’m glad we did, it was so good! The bill was fair, and the owner was very welcoming and kind. I haven’t seen the rooms, so I can’t rate them. The place is simple and homey, a bit like your grandmother’s house. I recommend stopping for lunch or dinner, you won’t regret it!!!
