Badiula

They've recently renovated and upgraded the facilities, and there's now a cozy bar for a pre-dinner or after-dinner drink. We've stayed at this agriturismo before and it's always a pleasure. The on-site restaurant serves local food. We ate there twice and also brought guests, and both the food and service were amazing. Highly recommended.

We came in the afternoon for oranges and asked whether we could spend the night in our small camper. They said yes, so we ate there and spent almost €100 on food and oranges. Then at 22:00 they told us the manager had changed their mind and we couldn't sleep there after all, citing “safety issues” that made no sense to us. When we asked what we were supposed to do, they told us to try another agriturismo at 22:00 at night, which is a joke. They didn't even offer us a room. If it was about the money, we would have paid for the night like at a normal campsite. Instead, we were left scrambling for somewhere to stay in the dark, with no campsite nearby. Tell people in the afternoon when they ask, not at 22:00 when there's no chance of finding another place. This was terrible management and incredibly inhospitable.

We stayed in the suite during our trip to Sicily, and the room was exceptional. The hot tub and pool view were just right, and the staff gave us a bottle of prosecco as a welcome gift, which made arriving feel extra special. Dinner was mixed: the beef fillet and pasta weren't the best, though the service and everything else were great. Breakfast had a good variety too. I'd recommend it.

Our flight into Sicily arrived late, and this place was only a short drive from the airport, so we stayed one night. It was much nicer than expected. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's a beautiful converted working farm and a relaxing place to be. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
