After a day out exploring, coming back through the Stargate, the door to the stars, is the best part. Internet fades away, and all you notice are nature's sounds, wind moving through the trees, chickens chattering, children laughing, and an incredible number of stars that make your heart skip a beat. This year we swapped our beloved Ogliastra for San Pietro Island and a different sort of holiday, and we're glad we did. Hostel House belongs in this little paradise, surrounded by beautiful nature. It's simple but has all the amenities, and the village and other places are about a quarter of an hour away. Cala Vinagra is a twenty-minute walk through Mediterranean scrub. It feels like a little world with all kinds of scenery.

Orietta is a special, sensitive person who was extremely helpful. She met us at the ferry and drove us to the property, and we had a wonderful stay. Set in nature, the place is simple and unpretentious but welcoming; you need to love the outdoors. It's convenient for both the beaches and the center. The one drawback is the cats, which should be housed somewhere else. We would have perfumed the linens...

The country house is in superb surroundings, and the island location is excellent. Rooms are clean, tidy, and adequate. I'd definitely stay again if I returned to San Pietro Island. It's highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet, whether traveling as a couple, family, with friends, or alone.

There was no phone reception or signal, which could be a problem for many people. For us it was fine, even a chance to truly switch off. The room was comfortable and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and we had a great time. The staff were courteous and helpful. I recommend it. ☺️

Nature surrounds and pampers you here. It's a wonderful place where peace and quiet are part of the experience. I highly recommend this little paradise!
