We came looking for peace and quiet, and found it here. The house has a huge garden that gave us privacy. I'm fond of strawberry trees, so whenever we returned from the beach I stopped to pick and enjoy the ripest fruit. Having breakfast and lunch on the veranda nourished both body and soul. The view was such a privilege, hard to put into words. Carloforte was a lovely surprise, and the owner was kind and thoughtful, as was Valentina, who welcomed us into a colorful, clean home. We found it easy to get into town, and the beach is only about five minutes away. It’s a lovely spot, with island vegetation and views to enjoy outside. The house feels comfortable and homey inside, and there’s room for both a big group and a smaller one. I’d recommend it if you want to make the most of Carloforte.

The quiet, beautiful beach is a five-minute walk down the road. We were nine, and the house still felt just right. The ground-floor terrace was a highlight, with a fantastic view and a huge barbecue. Gorgeous place, and I’d recommend it for families or friends travelling together.

The outdoor space made it easy to spend lovely evenings together, and the location worked well as a base for exploring the island, town center, scenery, and restaurants. Inside, there’s plenty of comfortable space for a larger group. The house can be used flexibly depending on what you need, and I’d recommend it to families as well as younger groups.
