The rooms have a lovely Mediterranean style, tastefully decorated, and Pierre and Simone were wonderful hosts. It's such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The cliffside spots for watching the sunset are magic. We loved it. Thank you.

The island has that same feeling of being held in the not-so-distant past, and I like it just that way. There's limited cell phone service, people who live here year-round, and no big tourist infrastructure, but plenty of small shops and restaurants. A real treat. Simona and Piero welcomed us warmly and sincerely. They're incredibly charming and kind.

The setting around Poecylia is a little paradise: a quiet promontory, a pebble cove, blue water, walking trails, and night skies full of stars. We spent a week there and felt completely at peace, surrounded by nature and lovely people. Piero and Simona made us feel at home and looked after us so warmly. Simona's breakfast, served in a building a short walk from the rooms, was a highlight: fresh bread and wonderful desserts, with local seasonal ingredients. We often lingered over it for more than an hour. Piero was always happy to help plan things, chat, or show us his art, which is displayed throughout the B&B. The rooms are very clean, simply decorated in a Mediterranean style, and have colorful bathrooms. There’s no phone signal in the rooms and no air conditioning, but we found that fine even in mid-August because the island is always breezy. For us, the lack of signal was a luxury. Poecylia has a particular character that may not suit everyone, so it’s worth reading the website carefully before booking. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Piero and Simona.

The dark, quiet nights are something special, and the sunset over Capo Sandalo is lovely. There’s a path down to a secluded cove, though good shoes are a must. The rooms are comfortable enough, but the colorful, creative decor and the natural setting make it more of a place to be out enjoying the surroundings. Piero is quick to help with arrangements or reservations, and the artwork and beautiful photos around the property are worth looking at. Simona is kind and clearly enjoys taking care of her guests. A few practical things to know: this isn’t a traditional resort. There’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only a small shared refrigerator, and breakfast and Wi-Fi are a 150-meter walk away. Breakfast is good and organic, though quite basic, and you need to ask for items like water and coffee capsules. Capsules in the room building cost 75 cents each. If you want to eat there, ask the day before, unless you bring your own food and drinks. The luxury here is in the attentiveness, details, and nature, with a secluded hillside spot overlooking the sea.

Piero and Simona were warm and helpful, both with the accommodation and with suggestions for exploring the island. A charming place surrounded by nature.
