Hotel Carpi

We found the price very reasonable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly, everything was spotlessly clean, and having a McDonald's right beside the hotel was handy. Carpi Hotel works really well as a stop on the way to Southern Italy, since it's close to the highway. There's fenced outdoor parking, plus a locked underground garage for vehicles up to 2.20m. Highly recommended!

The rooms are good, breakfast is fine, and the morning staff were nice. The location is very convenient, just a few meters from the speed way. My 1-star rating is about the check-in. At 1.30 in the night, I asked for a double bed and was told it wasn't possibile, even though he had rooms available. He gave me a room with 2 single beds and said I could join them. I was too tired to argue. There was a written wall notice saying double single use had the same price.

The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but there are some really nice, affordable places to eat less than a 5-minute walk away. I liked the bright feel of Hotel Carpi and the spacious room. The bar is well equipped, breakfast is pretty good with more than just sweet options, and the coffee tastes great 👍. I'll come back.

We usually choose bed and breakfast type hotels, but needed somewhere to stop on our way to the Cinque Terre. This hotel turned out to be quite nice. The room was lovely and clean, the staff were friendly, and we slept well. Breakfast wasn't as good as what you'd get at a B&B, but it was still pretty good.
