Hotel De La Ville

The food stayed with me, especially the local olive oil, and the sunsets were just as memorable: from the hotel's spot on a little hill facing west, you can watch the sun go down behind the Gargano promontory, with fiery reflections across Lake Varano. The nearby lido, a few kilometers from the Adriatic, was clean, orderly, and peaceful. The cheerful, sociable people there made guests feel welcome with card games and table football. The family who runs the hotel treated us like one of their own from day one. They were dedicated, professional, and friendly, and the website photos are genuine, not retouched or artificially made. I came back to Milan sad to leave such a lovely place, but I'll return. Five stars are well deserved.

We brought our parish youth group to this hotel just outside Carpino. The rooms were well kept, breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. A good choice for a short stay.

A great base for exploring the Gargano. It's family-run, with welcoming, courteous owners and clean rooms. Our room had air conditioning, a telephone, a TV, a spacious bathroom, and a very large terrace.

The balconies have a splendid view, and the staff are friendly. The hotel itself is modest, but the rooms are clean. Breakfast is a little limited since the kitchen is closed.
