Hotel Morgana

I was very unhappy with my stay and wouldn’t recommend the hotel. The room was tiny, and the bathroom even smaller. Cleaning was awful: when I arrived, there was hair stuck to the shower tiles, which was disgusting. Breakfast was really sad, and the place felt old and badly in need of renovation. The pipes smelled terrible too. The price was high for what the hotel offers.

The receptionist was courteous, which helped make up for the managers’ lack of warmth. The hotel is well located for excursions, and my room was bright and spacious, though not very quiet. The bathroom toilet flush was loud, even at night. Breakfast was good, but I expected a cappuccino like one from a bar. The menu was poor quality, and the kitchen didn’t pay much attention when I asked for extra sauce on my pasta.

The location is strategic, right across from the beach, and the rooms are fairly large and nice. The service in general could use some work, though. It’s frustrating that you can’t book just one night, since they make you take two nights on weekends.

I called for information and the woman who answered sounded annoyed by my call. I thanked her politely and said goodbye, but the other person didn’t say goodbye either. It left me feeling really uncomfortable. I’d have preferred a friendlier, more polite tone.
