I was especially impressed by how the hosts took my comments about breakfast. As a solo hiker, I really depend on breakfast, and what they first offered didn’t work for me. They listened, made changes quickly, and handled it professionally without getting defensive. That’s why my earlier 9.8/10 review praised the property, hospitality, and the way they responded to feedback. The villa is in peaceful Carrara, a handy base for walks in Cinque Terre National Park and the Apuan Alps. I’ve stayed in plenty of B&Bs, but the gardens here are memorable, with old fruit trees, evergreens, sculptures, and an art-filled library. The suite was bright and comfortable, with thoughtful decor and a nice balcony for relaxing inside or outside. The hosts were welcoming and attentive. Special thanks to the husband, who quickly figured out my rental car problem after an auto shop couldn’t help. It’s a lovely, calm place to stay if you’re nearby.

Breakfast was generous, with pastries, hot and cold drinks, and eggs. Margarita welcomed us and showed us around the villa, including its rooms and facilities. She also shared information about Carrara and the surrounding area, with restaurant suggestions and ideas for day trips. There are only a few rooms, spread across the first, second, and third floors, and each is large and distinctive. The whole place has a lovely garden and art throughout. I highly recommend it.

Marguerite made our holiday feel magical and worked hard to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is beautiful, with tasteful decor, sculptured gardens, and secure parking if you need it. Breakfast was magnificent, and we both thought this was one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you for making our time there so special.

Margherita has great sightseeing suggestions and does everything she can to make your stay enjoyable. The house and garden are full of art, even the rooms, so staying here feels a little like visiting a museum. The rooms are big and beautiful, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are really friendly. Awesome hotel!

The owner and staff looked after us extremely well, and we’d definitely give the place five stars. There’s a private park, beautifully renovated rooms, and art exhibitions throughout the property. Such a beautiful setting.
