Getting to the Royal Palace was easy from here, and booking online was straightforward too. We paid a very reasonable rate and were upgraded when we arrived. The room was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed.

We arrived for the November 1st long weekend and found the room filthy, including the sheets and bathroom. We showed the owner photos, and he came down looking annoyed with fresh sheets, asking, "Do I have to change them?" He said even clean sheets can have hair on them, but the replacements didn't smell clean either. With a child along, we had to make do. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The manager of Affittacamere Silvagni told me on January 2nd that cancelling our Booking.com reservation would be no problem, so we left right away for a funeral after an unexpected death in the family. The booking was for the night of January 3rd to 4th, 2025. As we were leaving the next day, he messaged us on WhatsApp saying cancellation would cost €40. We had asked because his answer would determine whether we could attend the funeral, so I found this dishonest. A few days later I found out Booking.com would not refund the booking price, and the manager had also taken another €40. I feel I have no option left but legal action. Scammers should be fought. Think carefully before booking this property.

The owner was nice, and the room itself was clean and quite large. The bathroom, though, was cramped, with a tiny sink.

It's in a really convenient spot, so you can get to different areas quickly. The place is very nice, the staff are friendly, and the hospitality was excellent.
