Mr. Bachir was very kind, and the rooms were comfortable. I spent three nights at Hotel Regina while visiting Casagiove. Breakfast had a wide selection, and the rooms were cleaned regularly. There was occasional noise from neighboring rooms.

Caserta is a quiet, very small town without much going on, if that’s the kind of setting you’re after. The staff were nice, but the continental breakfast was sad. We had both a family room and a regular one-bed room. The air conditioning was terrible in the family room and great in the regular room. The walk to the train station was decent, though July was so hot during our visit.

No bedside lamps in this hotel. Does anyone even read?
