The canteen is top-notch, from breakfast through dinner, and the staff are very friendly. Cleanliness and help with other needs were excellent, and the pool is pleasant and comfortable. It's very peaceful here, and the staff's courtesy and willingness to help make the place worth a visit. The rooms are a bit small, though, and could use more space. This was my first stay here and my first time in this part of Cilento.

The best part was the staff and the entertainment. Style Animation was a proper show, put on by energetic young people who kept going and showed loads of creativity and patience with the guests. We had two lovely weeks by the sea, with the beach an easy walk away, and the food was satisfying. Still, those rooms... the staff were as good as ever, and we'll miss the Style Animation artists most of all. The rooms are tiny. They seem meant for two, but there were four of us, with a bunk bed squeezed in at the foot of the other bed. The hotel's in an interesting spot, about a five-minute drive from Casal Velino center and 15 minutes from Ascea. The hotel beach is 150 meters away, but the umbrellas are packed a bit too close together. Meals are served buffet-style, with a couple of first courses, at least two or three second courses, and two or more sides. Dessert isn't always available, and when it isn't, the fruit selection is limited. There's not much for kids: penne pasta with sauces poured over it when you order. The huge pool starts at five feet deep right away, so children need to know how to stay afloat to swim there.

We had a really relaxing holiday and got great value for money. The beach is nearby, with reserved umbrellas and loungers. Our room was always clean, and staff came each morning to change the towels and the sheets on scheduled days. The buffet was varied and generous, with plenty of meat and fish to choose from. Carmen and Paula were especially kind, friendly, and attentive to what we needed. The entertainment was fun and engaging, from mornings at the beach to different shows in the evening. It was a wonderful experience. I'd recommend it and will definitely come back!

The staff were friendly, courteous, and polite, and it's a quiet spot for anyone after a truly relaxing holiday. But I stayed in a mini-apartment that management grandly calls a "suite." It was very clean, though furnished with just a few basic, inexpensive pieces. It's a long way from the hotel, so they gave us a free "card" good for 2 km/day. We had to walk that distance every day to get to the beach or for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Generous, right? The food needs a major improvement in ingredient quality, with fresher products and less frozen food. It's a good location, but I can give it no more than 2 stars. It doesn't deserve the 4 stars management claims. I wouldn't repeat the experience and absolutely don't recommend it.
