The place is fantastic and charming, and this was my second stay. The room is pleasant, though basic. This time, though, the humidity spoiled an otherwise excellent visit. The beds even felt slightly damp. A few other things stood out: the bed creaks constantly and is uncomfortable, and the shower drain is so slow that water pools around your feet. The wall outlets are undersized, despite all having multiple sockets, and the light switches are hard to reach. That last point isn’t a major issue, but I think it’s useful context.

At 8:15 PM I had to scramble for another room, which cost 80€, after they saw us arrive. I wasn’t going to stand in the street with our luggage. I’d arrived at 6 PM, not 5:30 PM, and despite making dozens of calls until 8 PM, this rude woman never answered. I even went to her house with one of her neighbors, but nobody was there. Other people tried contacting her too, with no response. If she’d answered, we might have found a solution. I have at least six people who were there and can confirm what happened, so she shouldn’t lie. This isn’t the first time people have been left waiting outside her house. She refused to reimburse me through Booking.com, so I lost 40€ + 80€, though it costs nothing to answer a call. I spoke with her by phone a few days later, and she said I should have been on time. What about my ten or so calls, the wait, and the extra costs? She’s not honest. I advise against renting from her: she’s unreliable and dishonest. Go somewhere else and avoid ruining your vacation. I have family in the area, and this behavior isn’t worthy of someone from Puglia!

The owners are very kind, and the room has all the necessary comforts. It’s in Casamassima’s historic centre and is quiet, a good choice if you’re looking for peace.

We had a great time in this comfortable room. It comes with a TV, Wi-Fi, mini fridge, small balcony, and air conditioning. The only thing missing is a bidet.
