Hotel Country Club

You can hear the water.

The place itself is nice, but the bathroom was a letdown: it’s extremely cramped, with the shower almost touching the toilet and no shower tray. On arrival, we were told at 11:00 AM that our rooms were still occupied and not ready. That isn’t the staff’s fault, but we’d also been given the wrong information about breakfast. We thought it was part of our booking, then found out it wasn’t and that we’d have to pay extra. All in all, it landed somewhere in the middle for me, neither good nor bad.

Even on our first visit, the staff made us feel like old friends. We’ve stayed at more luxurious hotels on Ischia, but this was a lovely experience. The rooms were spacious, the food was excellent, and the hotel team deserves full marks.

We had a very pleasant stay, thanks in large part to Nunzio & Co. The owners, waiters, and bartender were all extremely courteous and kind. The cuisine was high quality, with a varied menu. Thank you from the two women from Bologna!
