Hotel Myage

We had lovely sea views from the balcony, and breakfast came with a stunning outlook. The staff made getting around easy by helping us with the buses, and in October the weather was still warm enough to travel around comfortably. We stayed for two nights. When one of us asked about vegan food, the staff went out and brought back vegan croissants for the next morning, which was such a nice surprise. You can also rent a beach towel for €3. I'd recommend staying here.

The location worked really well for us, close to the port and with easy access around the area. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the pools were relaxing with a lovely sea view. We did have a small issue on arrival, but the staff handled it very professionally. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it.

The location is beautiful, and the hotel has a swimming pool and a parking lot, which isn't always easy to find in this part of Italy. The staff, though only one or two people, were friendly, and the price felt fair for the stay. Still, the place seems to have gone downhill since half of it was sold during Corona, with noticeable cost-cutting. Our room had moldy air conditioning and damaged bathroom fixtures, things regular maintenance could have addressed. Breakfast came on paper plates and plastic trays, and rubbish behind the terrace fence spoiled the otherwise amazing view. It could all be fixed, but right now it doesn't feel like the hotel is heading in a good direction.

The restaurant, run by another company, was great and we ate there most days. We also loved the spacious room, especially the smart TV, and the pool. The cliffside setting gave us amazing sea views, and there's a bus stop right outside. The port is about a 20-minute walk, which was manageable in the evening once it cooled down. The one real problem was our shower: the water flow was weak and mostly cold. After swimming, I ended up showering by the pool instead, though I shouldn't have had to.
