The rooms were clean, and the service was good.

A nice hotel.

My experience was extremely negative. My company chose the trip and hotel, not me. Otherwise, I would have picked much better options in the Naples area. I asked to change rooms as soon as I arrived. The staff did help, but with clear annoyance, and that attitude continued through the stay. In the first room, damp marks covered almost every wall and the plaster was peeling. Is that normal? The replacement was a single room with a double bed for the same price, and only slightly better: it was old, some bulbs were burned out, and there was no refrigerator. The breakfast was meager, just prepackaged food, with embarrassing service. I don’t think there’s a kitchen, or that they’re licensed to use one. The person serving breakfast also worked as a concierge, and I saw no more than three or four people managing a fairly large property. That’s unacceptable for a hotel claiming three stars. At night, there were serious problems too. People opened rooms through side entrances that weren’t part of the hotel, and young people screamed late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. That’s a problem when you’re away on business and need rest. The only positives were the location, useful for a very short one- or two-day visit to the Palace, and the meticulous room cleaning despite the old rooms. I still can’t understand how this place keeps a three-star rating. Never again. I hope serious action is taken, because something isn’t right.

There’s a good pizzeria nearby with excellent prices, and the reception staff were very kind. The hotel has its own parking. The rooms are decent, but the shower enclosure is ridiculous. Breakfast was very poor, and the person who served us was rude and had a sour expression.
