The visit to the 17th-century underground olive mill was a real highlight, an unforgettable part of the stay. Corte di Bonifacio in Casarano is lovely, with thoughtful care throughout and a genuinely welcoming feel. The owners are fantastic, friendly, and always ready to make you feel at home. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of sweet choices and a very tasty savory selection. Highly recommended!

We have such fond memories of our stay with Mara and Gianni. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and we loved spending time on the rooftop terrace while watching the lunar eclipse. Mara welcomed us warmly when we arrived and again each morning at breakfast. Gianni shared great beach tips, and we got to see the B&B’s lovingly restored olive oil cellar. Casarano is a small town with some good restaurants and is conveniently close to the coast and beautiful beaches.

The property is well placed for exploring Salento’s towns as well as its beautiful beaches. I spent two nights in Casarano for work at this lovely B&B, run by the very kind Mrs. Mara. The location was excellent, and I was given a better room than the one I’d booked. Breakfast was plentiful, with high-quality local sweet and savory foods. The hospitality was great, and she was always available with suggestions for restaurants and places to visit nearby.

Dinner options in the town center are good, and we especially enjoyed the quiet evenings on our private terrace, with the church bells from the historic center in the background. Our rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Mara and Gianni were incredibly warm and attentive, and breakfast was excellent, with local and homemade products. Gianni also showed us the winery and its period olive oil mill, which was a privilege. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, and thanks to Gabriele for his help. You can book with complete confidence!
