The rooms are small but cozy, and the bathroom is comfortable with a really nice shower. This B&B is ideally placed in Casarano’s historic center, just a minute from Piazza San Giovanni Elemosiniere and 15 minutes from the train station.

The place smells of smoke and doesn’t look anything like the photos. It felt more like a hostel than a B&B. There was no elevator, despite the advertised kitchen, there was no kitchen, and in 2021 there wasn’t even Wi-Fi. The rooms were tiny, the furniture was broken, and cleaning was poor. Staff were basically nonexistent. When we arrived, the owner sat on the bed to explain the property. Bad, bad.

It’s a nice property, but it’s managed poorly. Some rooms aren’t very clean, and the bathrooms are like closets, with various crusty deposits on the showers and toilets.

A great place, and the food is excellent.

They tell you your reservation is confirmed, then you arrive and discover there’s no room. Don’t trust this establishment.
