We spent six nights at Hotel Villa Stella, just a short walk from the town centre and also very close to Roccaporena if you’re hoping to visit. Antonella and Augusto made us feel at home from the minute we arrived until we left. They’re always glad to help and so friendly. Their motto is, “Our home is your home.” Thank you both for everything.

The views are stunning, and I loved how peaceful it was. Antonella and Ogosto were such friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. We enjoyed their home-cooked dinners and all the hospitality.

We found Hotel Villa Stella affordable and close to everything in Cascia, after people in Norcia suggested we stop in town during our honeymoon through Umbria. What we hadn’t expected was how wonderful Augusto and Antonella would be. They’re such welcoming, kind hosts. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, served in a dining room overlooking Cascia and the monastery where St. Rita’s body lies. We had great conversations with them, too. When we ran into trouble with the reservation for our next stop in Siena, Antonella spent nearly an hour on and off the phone helping us sort it out. We’re so grateful. We’re sorry it took us so long to write this. May God bless them and their hotel. We can’t recommend it enough.
