You can walk to most parts of the island in 25-30 minutes, and some beaches are just 10-12 minutes away. After a day by the water, the pool is a great place to cool off and relax. Tommaso and his family were always available and professional, and they made sure our holiday needs were taken care of. Incredible experience, and I hope to return soon.

The lemon garden beside the house has a BBQ, a table, and space to dry clothes. Rosa's jams were a nice extra, and the little apartment had everything we needed: a washing machine, mini oven, umbrella, fishing rod, and a small outdoor bathroom with a shower. It was clean, with a single sofa bed and a very comfortable double bed in the loft. It’s ideal for two, though we were three and managed comfortably, even with my nephew being almost 2 meters tall. Emmanuele and Rosa were always willing to help. The place is about a 10-minute walk from the port and center, and from there it’s easy to get around the island by bike.

Tommaso, who we called Commander, and his family were extremely responsive, courteous, and available whenever we needed anything, which deserves all five stars. The property name was confusing: we stayed in a house called Oasi Resort at Via Elleri 16, managed by Margie's House, though that name wasn’t shown anywhere. Maybe it’s how they distinguish bookings from online portals. Our apartment itself was spacious, modern, very clean, in excellent condition, and really nice. It had a lovely balcony and terrace, plus a perfect pool surrounded by greenery. The location isn’t ideal, and I’d be hesitant to recommend it if you don’t plan to rent an electric bike or scooter, as nearly everyone on the island seems to do.

The rooms were miserable. There was a sofa bed right by the entrance, uncomfortable bunk beds, and covers that had never been worn. The bathroom was blocked and the towels dirty. Outside there was a little umbrella and a clothesline with only four pegs, one broken. The location was inconvenient for parking and far from the main roads, and the street had no internet or phone signal. The service was poor too, with tiny breakfasts and not even hot croissants. Mosquitoes kept people away from the pool. The outside of the place is well kept, but the welcome was poor and the treatment left a bitter feeling. Poor!
