Domus Citri

Patrizia made me feel at home, always kind and ready to help. The apartment at B&B Domus Citri was spotless and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell the details were thought through, nothing felt out of place. A peaceful, well-organized spot that I'd happily recommend.

Breakfast was a lovely part of the stay: the owner brought freshly baked food each morning, and we'd found the fridge and pantry stocked for the first day. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. We were five, staying for a week, and had plenty of room, including a spacious garden with two tables and a gazebo with a sofa. Inside there are two bathrooms, each with a shower, a bathtub, and complimentary toiletries. It's in a quiet, low-traffic area, just 3-5 minutes from the highway and close to the Royal Palace of Caserta. The owner was helpful with all the information we needed. Free parking in front is available for loading and unloading.

Vaccheria, a historic hamlet of Caserta, gave us a welcome break from the bustle nearby, whether visiting for work or pleasure. The setting has a nice balance of city conveniences and the calm of the surrounding nature. The apartment itself is historic, renovated, and well cared for. Patrizia was thoughtful and attentive as well as dedicated to hosting us. We found the neighbors polite and quiet, the rooms and bathrooms clean, and the kitchen supplied with utensils, cookware, and basic cooking ingredients. Breakfast was generous, with fresh milk and citrus from the garden. We had a wonderful stay and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Bella seemed so sad when we got home, which says a lot about how welcome she felt. We rented the whole apartment, four people and our dog, and Patrizia treated us more like friends than guests, looking after us and bringing warm sfogliatelle for breakfast. The place was spotless, fully equipped, and had a lovely garden with all the comforts. A really positive stay, highly recommended.
