Franco Giaquinto Hotel

We felt right at home, thanks in large part to Franco and the whole team, who were so friendly and nice. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. There were lovely walks all around, and Casertavecchia was charming. The hotel’s got character, a majestic piano that they let me play and sing at :), a great swimming pool and excellent gastronomy. It’s well located too. I could go on and on, we really recommend it.

The view was nice, and every room had a balcony, but the rooms were small and crowded. The staff seemed all right, though they didn’t speak English, so I couldn’t really tell. Breakfast was very poor: juice, sweets and coffee. The sweets were old, and it was the same selection for all four days. They asked for payment upfront, 20 euros more than Booking had said, and still kept my documents. I don’t recommend it.

A lovely hotel up in the mountains of Caserta, with friendly staff. But there was no hot water on two of the three days I stayed, and the WiFi didn’t work.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable for a reasonable price. Just be aware the place is at the top of a hill, so getting to Caserta takes a 15-20 minute drive.
