Le Stanze di Ginevra Apartment

I was super happy with the stay. The owners are wonderful, and everything was great.

Leonilde looked after us so well, and Raffaele was wonderfully helpful. The apartment has plenty of space, a refrigerator, and a large bathroom with all the amenities. There’s no kitchen, but that wasn’t an issue with good, reasonably priced pizzerias and takeaways nearby. The location is excellent, close to the Royal Gardens and an easy walk to the Palace. We’ll definitely be back!

The apartment at Via Amendola 24, Puccianiello was a huge disappointment, despite the owner's kindness at first. Once we’d paid, he disappeared. He asked us to arrange checkout and key collection for 10:00 AM, then didn’t reply to our messages until 1:00 PM. We hadn’t actually agreed on a time beforehand. The house was freezing, dirty, and full of mold, with a persistent damp smell. We had to stay shut in our room to keep warm, with the air conditioning running full blast. In the morning, pieces of wall that had fallen overnight were stuck to our damp clothes on the sofa. Plaster was flaking off above the bed, and beside the washing machine, years’ worth of grime was stuck to the floor. I don’t know how anyone can rent an apartment in that condition.

It’s almost on the outskirts, about a half-hour walk from the center. Inside, everything was dirty, the furniture old and broken, the mattresses terrible, and the shower only gave a trickle of water. The air conditioning was noisy too. This isn’t a habitable apartment, and I absolutely don’t recommend it.
