Villa Marcello

Villa Marcello was a beautiful place to stay, peaceful and surrounded by greenery, with the scent of jasmine all around. Our room was lovely, everything was very clean, and breakfast was plentiful. The hospitality was exquisite. We’ve just returned from Caserta, and if we’re back in the area, we know where we’ll stay.

I still think about the wonderful days I spent at this beautiful property six years ago. The family made us feel welcome, and the garden was gorgeous. Most of all, they warmly welcomed my two dogs. My love for Caserta is largely thanks to Villa Marcello.

Andrea and his wife run their B&B very well. They’re polite, kind and always ready to help. It’s quiet and inviting, with a layout and convenience that are hard to beat. The city center and sights are close, and Pompeii, Naples and the Amalfi Coast are all easy to reach in under an hour. Top-notch, thanks so much. Just avoid New Year’s Eve, that’s not their fault!!! 😀😀😀😀 See you soon.

The photos didn’t match what I found, and the stay was a huge disappointment. I’d booked a superior room, but because they needed space for a third bed, it was upgraded. What I got was a tiny attic cubicle, as we’d call it. The bathroom felt unwelcoming and had nothing in it. I’d say avoid this place.
