The staff were genuinely nice and clearly tried their best, which was the one bright spot. The rest felt like misleading marketing at best, and possibly a scam. I don't think it was worth the price. Breakfast was a letdown. The photos show a lovely restaurant, but breakfast is served downstairs in a windowless basement room, at cheap, dirty tables. We were given plastic cups for juice instead of glasses, and the food tasted poor and seemed prepared without care. Our room was shabby and poorly maintained, with cheap, broken furniture and a strong smell of cleaning chemicals that wouldn't go away even after airing it out. Some rooms may have a beautiful view, but ours looked into a small, dark, dirty atrium. It also took about five minutes for the water to warm up. The lights' fuse blew while I was showering. There was no way to adjust the AC ourselves, so we had to call reception to change the temperature or remove its fuse to turn it off. The pool and spa had the same neglected feel. Both saunas worked, but the facilities seemed cheap and overdue for maintenance. Doors didn't fit their frames, there were stains everywhere, and the showers and ice weren't working.

The indoor pool gave us a relaxing break after a day out walking and exploring. Breakfast was fresh, generous, and well organized, with no sense of being rushed. We found the hotel very clean and well looked after, and our spacious room had a comfortable bed. Housekeeping's attention to detail stood out. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were polite and helpful whenever we spoke with them. They gave us useful directions, advice about parking in Siena, and local restaurant tips. We had a genuinely lovely time, and would happily return and recommend it to other people visiting Siena.

We could hear cars outside at night even with the main door shut, and the room was noisy and quite dirty. It was also in bad shape, with bathroom shelves that were coming apart. The location isn't bad, but if you're visiting Siena, I'd recommend staying in the city centre.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Set among Tuscany's rolling hills, the hotel is close to Siena. The rooms have a modern, functional business-hotel style.

We got such good attention and service for our honeymoon. The hotel itself was very good, and the spa has a heated indoor pool and two saunas, each with space for up to six people. Siena is about a 15-minute drive away. Can't wait to come back to Tuscany for another stay.
