Fattoria Belvedere

The electric car charging station doesn't work. The room also feels very dated and has a musty smell, especially around the bathroom and shower. For that reason, I don't think the hotel deserves four stars.

I was worried after reading the reviews, but my three days here in mid-September turned out to be wonderful. When I handed in my key at checkout, I told the receptionist, “See you in October.” I’ll be back to explore more of the lovely places in this area. WELL DONE!

The gardens by the entrance are beautifully kept and make a great spot for photos, and the views are breathtaking. It’s a rustic, comfortable place for anyone who loves nature. If you’re after luxury or somewhere trendy, this probably isn’t your place. The dining room is spacious, with access to an adjacent terrace and its fenced children’s playground. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the venue works well for receptions and parties of all kinds. They can accommodate vegan and vegetarian dishes, children’s menus, and special requests. The menus are good and reasonably priced. It’s popular with many foreigners, so booking ahead is best.

The pool is just right, and the food is good. The room furnishings are definitely due for an update, and the lovely garden could use more attention. Overall, a good stay.
