The room was very small and in rough shape, with scuffed, worn furniture and visible mold in the bathroom. On the plus side, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the location. It's in a fantastic walkable area, with a charming local feel in Cannaregio, away from Venice's main tourist crowds but still close to great restaurants and shops. For the price, it was pretty much what I expected.

Many thanks to Nicolò for helping me sort out the Venice access exemption QR code when I ran into problems. The hotel is ideally placed, just a 15-minute walk from Venezia Santa Lucia Train Station. My room was clean and spacious, with a lovely canal view. A very pleasant stay.

The location was great, near good restaurants, sights, and the train station, and the comfortable beds and nice bathroom made for a good stay. We thought it was good value for what we paid. There were a couple of issues: the TV only had cable and the screen sometimes stopped working. The bathroom outlet was dead, and the towel heater wouldn't come on. Even so, we had a nice stay and a good experience.

We had a noisy neighbor on the second night, though that's not the hotel's fault. The reception guy was kind and helpful, and they kept our package after checkout. We'd recommend the hotel and would like to come back. Venice is wonderful! Our canal-facing room was quite big, recently renewed, and very clean. The blankets and bathroom were clean too and smelled good. The hotel looks over the canal and bridge, with an amazing view. It's in a peaceful part of Venice with lots of restaurants and bacaros.

The front desk was extremely helpful and stored our luggage while we waited to check in. Our room was spotless. We had an excellent stay at Leone Hotel and would definitely come back.
