The food alone makes this place unforgettable for me. The meat, pasta, and desserts were delicate and delicious, some of the best I've had in Italy, maybe anywhere. Prices felt very low for that quality, and the wine list was both excellent and affordable. The rooms are fresh, clean, and comfortable too. Everything has a simple, homely feel, and the servers were quick and attentive. I'd even give the cooking a Michelin nod. If you're in Bologna, make a night of it and see for yourself. I can't recommend it enough.

We had a really nice stay, helped by the location, very clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple. The restaurant was amazing, though sadly it only opens around weekends, at least when we visited in low season.

We showed up with our kids, aged 3 and 7, without a reservation, and although the place was full, we were lucky to get a great table. Dinner was excellent, with delicious, well-prepared food. The service was warm, attentive, and quick, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and carefully put together. Highly recommended.

Giancarlo and the other staff were very pleasant to deal with, and I'd definitely stay again. The hotel is very nice and quiet overall. My room was adequate for a few nights, though because of the layout, noise from downstairs carries even to the room furthest away.

Dinner was so tasty we couldn't even stop to take pictures. The dishes were excellent, using local ingredients with creative takes on traditional flavours. Great value for money, and highly recommended.
