The pool was superb, with sun beds and parasols for everyone. Bring Deet if mosquitoes or other bugs bother you, it helped us. We spent 11 days at Le Lascie in mid-August, and Gabriele was a generous, welcoming host. The house was spotless and inviting, with a typical interior, spacious rooms, and big beds, great if you're tall. There's no air conditioning, but every room has a fan that made the hot Tuscan nights manageable. The kitchen had the basics for preparing simple meals, and each house has its own small patio with a table and chairs. The apartments are arranged so everyone gets plenty of privacy. It's a good base for day trips, with lots to see in the area within about 30 to 60 minutes. There are charming villages and small towns nearby, and the coast is at most an hour and a half away, depending on where you go. A couple of restaurants are close by, with more choices in the towns. Gabriele was happy to share what to visit and when. His helpful, generous welcome was part of what made the holiday such a success. I'd definitely recommend a stay here to explore Tuscany.

The apartments are clean, well equipped, and have what you need for either a short or longer visit. Dalina and Gabriele are very involved hosts who seem to know everything, from the surrounding area and wine tastings to booking food experiences and suggesting places to visit. You can also have meals served by a gourmet chef, with wonderfully surprising dishes. It's a relaxing place for a self-catering stay, with the option of those special meals. We'll be back and will send our friends too. The place and its people feel truly magic. Thank you so much!

We booked a two-bedroom house for our family based on the online photos, but what we were given looked nothing like the description. Villa 6, which wasn't even advertised, was assigned to us. Gabriele, the host, was hostile and unethical. We were so upset and disappointed that we left before our checkout date. We escalated the issue and received compensation, as it was believed there had been a violation on the host's end. I don't recommend Le Mascie unless you want to experience a dungeon with this dishonest host.

A peaceful place to unwind, with very friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation is large, clean, and comfortable, and there's plenty of privacy on the big terrace. The pool is large and perfect for kids.
