The pool is fantastic, but there were plenty of problems. The landlord speaks neither German nor English, so we could only communicate with gestures. The beds gave us backaches, basic supplies like salt, pepper, oil, charcoal, firelighters, and a lighter were missing, and the welcome felt cold. We saw a basket of cherries and mushrooms on the table and assumed it was for us, but they took it back. There are lots of hornets in the cherry trees, and snakes on the property, with no device available to suck out venom. Dogs aren't allowed in the pool. The access is only possible with an off-road vehicle, and the nearest shop is 45 minutes away. Don't enter "casa costanza" in navigation, as it sends you to a hill about 40 minutes from the destination. Use the coordinates instead. The tourist tax wasn't included in the price, and no one mentioned it.

We found the price far too high for what was offered. Although the grounds and pool are excellent, warnings about vipers greatly limited how freely we could move around. There were no comfortable chairs in the house, and the worn-out beds caused back pain. Basic items such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, dish towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and cleaning supplies weren't provided, so we had to buy them. Wi-Fi only worked in some places, the German TV channels had no sound, and calls to the listed numbers reached only answering machines. The 2 km approach was an extremely rough forest track, not an ordinary gravel road. It felt safe only when there was no oncoming traffic, and scratches or scrapes from thorny bushes seemed likely. In my view, a motorhome couldn't make it. For us, the asking price was completely out of proportion.
