Villa Mucellena

You’ll want to come back for Viola and the crew, the sensational countryside, and that relaxed, good feeling. Villa Mucellena makes a lovely setting for a ceremony, a team-building event, or just unwinding in dreamy Tuscany. The pool and extraordinary rooms have all the comforts you need, and the staff will make you feel welcome and work to make your stay a good one. Don’t overlook the food, it keeps up that “Tuscany’s finest” experience. The price is reasonable and very competitive. One visit is enough to make this place special.

We spent a week at villa Mucellena, and the owners welcomed us with such incredible kindness. They make you feel at home. Our room was large and cozy, with all the services available. The pool was open, so we could use it even in the third week of September. The Villa is surrounded by greenery and a deeply restorative quiet, just right for anyone wanting to relax and escape the rush of everyday life. They also have a restaurant that’s open on some days of the week. We had breakfast and two dinners there, and all of it was spectacular. Viola is welcoming and helpful, and also a superb cook. We had a simple but delicious lunch. The pool and garden are just right for slowing down and enjoying some peace. It’s around half an hour from Siena and villages like Monteriggioni, Casole d'Elsa, San Gimignano, and plenty of others. What a lovely place, one that stays in your heart. We’ll definitely come back.

We loved the apartment, especially the handy layout and lovely terrace, where we enjoyed lunch and dinner. Everything is decorated with taste, and the pool area is superb. The service was exceptionally kind. It’s a peaceful, charming spot in the Tuscan countryside, while still close to lots of interesting towns. We’ll definitely be back.
