Relax nell' Antico Borgo

The house was tidy, clean, and equipped with all the comforts, with a lovely view over the Sabina mountains. It’s a warm, welcoming holiday home that feels intimate and cosy. The village is stunning and seems timeless. It’ll make for a dream holiday.

The village is really charming, and the house is very cute. We did run into a few small issues: there was no hot water, though in summer a cold shower isn’t unpleasant, and the Wi-Fi dropped out in many corners of the apartment. Vodafone signal was completely absent, but that’s certainly not the property’s fault. The pretty kitchen could have used a little more attention to cleaning, as some dishes weren’t quite in order. Still, I’m sure these little problems were just chance, and they didn’t affect our stay too much. I’d recommend it for the location and for the owner’s kindness. She gave us a small bottle of excellent extra virgin olive oil from her own olive grove.

Rita’s vacation home is spotless, fully equipped, and has a furnished balcony where you can take in the valley and mountain views. It stays very cool in summer, helped by the air conditioning, though we didn’t need to turn it on. There’s also a fireplace for winter trips. Rita is a wonderful host with unmatched ideas for places to eat and routes to explore. A truly authentic place to relax, highly recommended.

Maria Rita, the owner, was attentive to what her guests needed and gave us all the contact details and information to find what we were looking for. It was clear she wanted us to feel comfortable. The apartment was very well kept, super clean, and convenient right in the village center, and all COVID regulations were strictly followed. We had a fantastic, relaxing weekend and a stunning view. Thanks for everything! Stephane
