We found the place beautiful, and the people were polite and friendly, but I wouldn’t choose it in winter. It was 3 degrees C outside, and the small air conditioner was the only heat source. It couldn’t warm the room properly. The room just wasn’t equipped for winter. The owner was friendly and tried to help, though nobody at the farm spoke anything but Italian. They had sent an Italian SMS warning us not to follow GPS because of a road closure, and to use the signposts at Ferla instead. We barely speak Italian, so that was hard to understand. The restaurant was closed, and we only found out after arriving. That was a significant problem for us with a small child.

A lovely quiet spot to relax, with such welcoming hosts. The homemade pasta, bread, wine, and cheese were wonderful. Highly recommended.

Such an interesting area, and Serbastiano's cooking is a real highlight. Beautiful food and excellent service. We'll be back.
