La Suite

We stayed a few days and liked how close the property was to restaurants and the Benedictine Abbey, just a few minutes away. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculately clean.

The shower didn't work, and breakfast was included in the reservation even though we didn't use it. We also had trouble with the tourist tax. After booking through Booking.com, we called to give our arrival time, only for the owner to arrogantly say there was no reservation. She called back later after it had been recorded. The next morning, we had no change, so we asked to pay the €2 tax separately by POS, which was our right. The owner then called, condescendingly demanding cash and accusing us as if we'd refused to pay. The service was incomplete, and the whole exchange showed zero professionalism and a lot of rudeness.

There was a strong smell in the entrance hall. The room itself was comfortable and spacious, but pretty bare. No bench for a suitcase, and the fridge was out in the middle of the street. They could have done better.

Right in a central area, with a large, clean room.
