The best.

Really great service.

The room was clean and nicely furnished, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel itself is pleasant, looks recently built or renovated, and is in a fantastic location. My main concern was the service and reception. We got water from the minibar when we arrived, which was appreciated, but it wasn’t replaced on the following days. There were only four electrical outlets between the bedroom and bathroom, and one was in use by the TV. With so many devices to charge these days, I’d suggest putting at least two outlets beside the bed. A kettle or coffee maker in the room would also have been useful. The housekeeper seemed more attentive to us than the rest of the staff, who appeared to number two. We were unsure who to give our keys to at checkout, which was by 10:00 AM. The housekeeper advised us to leave them on the counter because, as she put it, the manager usually doesn’t arrive until 1:00 PM. I knew when booking that breakfast and other meals weren’t included, and that was fine, especially since there’s an excellent beach club across the road for dinner. Still, I wasn’t expecting a hotel with nobody on hand, even at checkout. That’s never happened to me before. Given the very limited amenities, I also think the prices should be reconsidered. The value feels a bit out of balance, and being by the beach doesn’t justify what feels like a 3- or 4-star price.

The only real plus is the location. The rest felt more like a vacation rental than a hotel: staff were nowhere to be found, the grounds weren’t maintained, and the garden was overgrown. It looked like renovation work might be going on. Checking out was impossible because reception hours weren’t being followed. We waited an hour, called several times without getting through, and eventually left. It’s a shame, because the location can’t make up for all those problems.
