We had a late flight, but after the 10 AM checkout there was nowhere at the property to leave our bags. We ended up hauling them around the island, which was exhausting and really inconvenient. The ground-floor apartment got no sunlight and felt very dark and humid. Mosquitoes were everywhere and made the stay unpleasant. If you like feeding mosquitoes, you might enjoy it here. We were far from satisfied and wouldn’t recommend it, especially with other places in Venice offering better service.

Lovely apartment, and you can watch the canal traffic from it.

Back for our second stay recently. It was quiet and clean, with everything we could need.
