A lovely hidden gem, with spacious rooms and friendly, helpful service. It's a short walk from the train station, or an even shorter trip by boat, and the continental breakfast is free. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

We really liked the garden where we ate breakfast, and breakfast itself was good. Nicola at the front desk was very kind and helpful with suggestions for things to do. The room smelled a bit musty, but opening the window sorted it out. The hotel's in a quieter part of Venice, which was nice, yet the main sights are still an easy walk away. We had a lovely stay!

We slept well despite the firm beds and thin pillows, probably because we were so tired from traveling. The staff were especially helpful: since we had to leave before breakfast, they arranged for a small breakfast to be brought to our room the night before. The hotel has a lovely old-fashioned feel, and our windows looked onto the little garden where breakfast is served. It’s tucked away from the main canals but only about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. We loved the place and its atmosphere.

Even though we arrived very late, the staff kindly talked us through the city and pointed us to a spot with a view over Venice. We managed to find it, and the view was beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely painting, and the bathroom was spotless too. They gave the two of us a room for three, and having breakfast delivered to the room worked really well for us. We had a very nice stay.
