Hotel Villa Barbarich

I loved the villa’s character and the atmosphere you can feel throughout. Everything was very well maintained, and the staff were consistently smiling, kind, and friendly. I came away with a great impression and would absolutely return. The thing that bothered me was finding insects in our room. There were bugs and spiders, and three large black caterpillars were crawling on the walls beside our bed. We also saw them in the shower and on the floor. I’m very afraid of insects, so it made the stay unpleasant for me, even though it wasn’t a huge issue overall. Screens on the windows, especially on the ground floors, could help keep them out. The stay was beautiful, and that change would make it close to perfect.

The view was beautiful, and the staff made us feel welcome. Service and hospitality were both great at Hotel Villa Barbarich. I’d definitely return.

I used this hotel as a base while filming my travel experience for my YouTube channel Karina Walks 4K, and it worked perfectly. The place was peaceful and well organized, with a spotless, cozy room and a lovely view. The staff were welcoming and professional, and I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast. A great location too. I’d happily come back and recommend it.

Dinner was a highlight: the food and atmosphere were wonderful, and the three ladies serving us were lovely. Our bed was comfortable, and the stay was a nice way to get away from busy Venice before flying home. The Villa is about 20 minutes from VCE, though there isn’t much to do nearby. We arrived on Sunday afternoon to a completely packed pool. The hotel sells day passes to people who aren’t staying there, and getting a drink took over 25 minutes. The panini took even longer.
