Relais Pqlin

Surrounded by wine yards, this was a great place to recharge and enjoy some good wines. Diego was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed, and more. 100% recommended!

The welcome was wonderful, with kind service, thoughtful touches, and helpful restaurant recommendations. We felt really pampered. The hotel is magnificent, and we were so comfortable that we wished we could stay longer. The location is ideal: the village center is a five-minute walk, and the next village is 25 minutes away on foot along picturesque paths. By car, Alba and lots of charming little villages are close. There’s also a magnificent swimming pool, though the chilly weather kept us from using it. We couldn’t find a single negative. Thanks for the stay, we’ll be back!

The view of the hills and vineyards is stunning, and the location is wonderfully relaxing. We had a short tour of the winery, but ran out of time for a tasting. Maybe next time. We’ll definitely come back for longer. They welcomed us warmly with an aperitif of their wine, served right on our balcony. The elegant room had a very large terrace, where breakfast can be enjoyed outside when the weather allows. Breakfast is brought to your room rather than served as a buffet, with care taken to avoid food waste and to use top-quality ingredients. They were also very helpful in booking a table at a local restaurant.

Between a swim and a walk through the vineyards, pQlin is a peaceful place to reconnect with nature. The view over the hills and vines is breathtaking, changing colors as the light shifts through the day. The tasting with Margherita and her husband was a whole sensory journey, not just a sample of wine. They guided us among the rows and through each glass with warmth, discretion, and real knowledge, and every sip had a story. Even the relais's logo has a deeper meaning that adds to the experience. pQlin was a surprising find. The relais has understated elegance that fits the landscape, with tasteful interiors and spacious, bright, spotless rooms. It still feels rooted in the land and in genuine hospitality, something rare when so much feels standardized. If you want a restorative break away from the usual hustle and bustle, this is a real gem in the hills.
