The best part of our stay was sharing an authentic Italian dinner with Andrea and his friends from Imola. It made us feel right at home. Breakfast was lovely too, and the nearby trails gave us plenty of chances to explore. LaTordicella has a special setting, with breathtaking views across the Apennines. The rustic house has been restored with obvious care, combining old materials with modern comforts, including a well-equipped kitchen and a welcoming outdoor pool. Andrea looked after our comfort and safety from the moment we arrived, and even drove us up the hill in his jeep. His hospitality made the whole stay unforgettable.

Andrea welcomed us so warmly that staying there with our 1 year old son for 4 days felt like being with family. The view is wonderful, and the place has a lovely, authentic feel. My girlfriends and I had a blast at our 60th reunion, travelling from 4 continents. Getting up and down the hilltop BnB was a bit of a challenge in the rain and on those roads, but Andrea and Miele, his beautiful dog, were there to help us 4 CRAZY women. Andrea’s care and generosity are so genuine. This one’s for the history books, with stories to remember until we hit dementia 🤣 Thank you 💯🇫🇷🇦🇺

The sunsets, the wonderful pool, the fresh air, and that feeling of being able to “hear” the silence made this place so special. Andrea and Maffy🐕 were lovely, and Andrea makes delicious piadini, shares stories about the region, and suggests interesting places in the Castel Del Rio. If you’re looking for quiet, nature, and beautiful views, you’ll find them here. Staying here makes you happy. It’s the most beautiful place we’ve ever been, and I’d be happy to return. Thank you for such an inspiring experience.

Andrea’s way of hosting really stuck with me: guests arrive as guests and leave as friends. Over our few days at Latordicella, we cooked, sang, and shared lots of laughs with him and his friends. Their warmth, kindness, and generosity gave us memories I’ll always treasure. The farmhouse is tucked into the hills and has a spectacular view. The drive up was tricky at first, so a 4WD car is highly recommended. We soon got over our nerves, and Andrea kindly offered to shuttle us up and down if we didn’t feel like driving.
